■ Multi-Protocol Platform Solution |
| Voipack Corporation develops multi-protocol softswitch platform in response to the |
| market and technical trend of softswitch. Multi-protocol softswitch platform supports |
| MGCP, H323 and SIP in
delivering non-disparity dialing among protocols and translation |
| between protocols, therefore offers
service providers with a variety of choices. |
| |
| H.323 protocol, the widely used existing protocol, which inherits traditional telephone |
| signaling mode, is
one model of ITU multimedia communication series standard H.32x. By |
| virtue of the interactive
operation capability between different equipment, different |
| applications and different providers, H.323 is
applied at central office site. It is now |
| widely adopted in the China market, especially in public telephone
service. |
| |
| SIP is an application control (signaling) protocol elected by IETF, focusing on IP |
| telephone application
on Internet. SIP incorporates the standards and design ideas of |
| other Internets, maintaining the style of
conciseness, openness, high compatibility and |
| expandability to which the Internet has always adhered.
SIP due to its flexibility is |
| especially widely used in personal and enterprise IPBX application and other
value |
| added services. |
| MGCP protocol is the combination of SGCP (Simple Gateway Control Protocol) and |
| IPDC (Internet Protocol Device Control). It came into being after IETF formed the |
| MEGAGO. MGCP is a control protocol
of application layer, aiming to fulfill the Media |
| Gateway Control (MGC), therefore to provide the
connection among MGs in the network |
| and process the interaction between MG and MGC. MGCP
functionally defines the |
| interaction between MGC and MG and can be easily implemented, often used in
number |
| provision of primary telecommunication and enterprise applications. |
| |
| Voipack Corporation integrates the said three protocols, providing service providers with |
| efficient
platform with a variety of choices. Service providers need not care about the |
| disparity among protocols in
establishing gateways and calls, thus setting up non- |
difference platform based on multiple protocols. |
| |
| Primary Features : |
| ·Multi-protocol softswitch platform, with the aid of Voipack SBC, implements the non- |
| barrier traversal between private network and firewall. |
| Voipack SBC so far is able to implement NAT traversal between MGCP and SIP. |
| |
| ·Maximum number of registered user, per point: 10,000 for MGCP protocol user, 10,000 |
| for H.323
protocol user, 10,000 for SIP protocol user. Maximum number of registered |
| user per point varies with
the different model of VCM equipment chosen. |
| |
| ·Simultaneous call attempt: It refers to number of the users who pick up and originate |
| calls simultaneously. 2000 lines generally, 800-1000 lines with the companion of SBC. |
| |
| ·Multiple routing policy: The idea of multiple routing is adopted, wherein a variety of |
| routing policies can
be set up for individual clients on one platform, and routings can be |
| intelligently selected based on routing priority. Alternative route will be selected when |
| the high priority route is fully loaded or interrupted
based on the routing policy. Service |
| providers' interest will be best ensured. |
| |
| ·Termination support for protocol SIP and H323. |
| |
| ·Three protocol gateways adopt uniformed integrated registration management |
| platform. |
| |
| ·Compatible with a variety of terminal equipment and integrated with different brands of |
| central office site equipment. |
