■ VoIP Inbound Call Solution for Service Provider |
| With the growing international communication need, foreign service providers having |
| huge minutes are seeking for local call termination service every where. Voipack with its |
| field- proven VSS and CPEs offers a VoIP international inbound call solution for service |
| provider aiming at such business. |
| Topology for VoIP Inbound Call Solution |
| Network Description |
| ● The remote service provider connects the trunk gateway to VSS through a static |
| router, sending voice signaling to VSS; |
| ● The VoIP gateway registered with VSS accesses PSTN (telephone lines or trunks) via |
| FXO port to terminate a call. |
| Call Establishment |
| ● The voice traffic are collected and sent to the trunk gateway, and then be handed |
| over to VSS; |
| ● VSS authenticates the call from the trunk gateway and then forwards it to local VoIP |
| gateway; |
| ● The VoIP gateway terminates the call via FXO port to PSTN; |
| VSS is responsible for billing control during the process. |
| Features |
| VSS is well compatible with VoIP gateways and trunk gateways based on different |
| protocols, H.323, MGCP or SIP. It is capable of translating between protocols to ensure |
| normal communication between CPEs. The analog VoIP gateway connects to PSTN by |
| either phone line and trunks or GSM wireless devices for call termination; the digital |
| VoIP gateway connects to PSTN by T1, E1 for call termination. |
| Furthermore, VSS supports multiple number replacement rules to accommodate various |
| inter- connection requirements of service providers. It also supports multiple |
| international routings upon which priority level can be set. |
| Notably, Voipack VOG4000 (VoIP analog gateway), capable of reverse polarity detection |
| and busy tone detection, dramatically improves the accuracy of billing, where VSS will |
| not start billing if the callee is busy or does not answer the call. |
